Pallavan daycare at DLF Phase I started in the month of April 2010.
A premier and professionally managed day care facility where children from the age of 12 months to 6 years are provided with a secure, caring and enriched environment that fosters their holistic development and provides them with a “home away from home”.
This center is managed by trained educators from Pallavan, an organization running established playschool programmes since 2001 in Gurgaon.
Pallavan Day care operates from 8:30 am. to 6:30 pm. on all working days. The staff operates in two shifts. The following facilities are provided at the daycare
Day care programme timings
We offer a number of options to suit the needs of the working parents.
1. Three (3) hour programme that lets parents choose the three hours that they want to send their children for. This is ideally suited for children from 1-2 years or for children who attend our 1 hour programme in the preschool and need to be here till lunch time (for parents who work half day).
2. Half day programme. This is for children who need to be in a secure environment from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm or from 1:30 to 6:30 pm.
3. Full day programme where the child can come to the daycare and it is a home for her/him, with our caring and trained staff, from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. A special half day programme is available only to our Pallvan preschool children who are dropped by the parents at nine and picked up at 6:30 pm. The daycare staff is responsible for picking up the child from the preschool and bringing her/him to the daycare. The timings are 12 noon to 6:30 pm.
4. Daily plan for occassional needs of parents
A typical day at the day care
The day begins with the children playing outdoors followed by breakfast. They then go to the activity room and spend the morning doing different activities. By 12 the children go to the basement to play or in winters they go outdoors. Lunch is laid out for the children between 1 and 2 pm after which they listen to stories and sleep till about 4 pm. After 4 pm the children freshen up, have a snack, and then have different activities every day of the week. By 6:30 they are ready to be picked up.
The day care has a daily diary that our staff maintains meticulously.
